FDA Food Safety Modernization Act
The House approved the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act legislation 215-144 Tuesday, Dec. 21. The bill will be signed by President Obama in early 2011. FOG worked with the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition and other grassroots organizations to help get important exemptions included for small farmers. Thanks for the support of the many farmers, consumers, industry and others who assisted.
