Screening"What's Organic About Organic?", a film co-produced by and starring Florida Organic Growers Executive Director Marty Mesh, will be screened at 3:30 p.m. in Orlando April 10 during the 19th Annual Florida Film Festival at the Enzian Theatre. From 2-6 p.m. enjoy a "Farm to Table" community market outside the Enzian Theatre, where FOG will be tabling with other non-profits and local food producers.

Head over to Orlando Brewing at 8 p.m. for a "Chew & Brew" with a chance to discuss the film with Shelley and Marty. Dandelion CommuniTea Cafe has generaously donated some tasty local and organic food for the event, and there will be raffle prices from our partners! Musician John Lazar kicks off the evening entertainment at 9 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to FOG by Orlando Brewing.

With charm and humanity, "What's Organic About Organic?" leads viewers to examine how organic farming has evolved from a grassroots movement into a multi-billion dollar international industry. Through the stories of farmers who steward land from Harlem to the foothills of the Rockies, from upstate New York to Florida, the film reveals what's at stake in creating and maintaining meaningful standards for organic production to protect citizen interests, to heal the environment, and to maintain the livelihoods of family farmers.
